Brick Walls in Life

In life, there are times when we are subjected to 'real' challenges. Challenges that make us sulk and sink into our couches. Challenges that make us search for the nearest possible 'exit'. Challenges that really test our earnestness.
At such times, its Randy Pausch's words that should reverberate within our thoughts. In his Last Lecture, he said -
The brick walls are there for a reason. Right? The brick walls are not there to keep us out, the brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough

If you are truthful to yourself and to the world, stand by your doings. Take full ownership of what you've done. Don't give into criticisms. Even when your own people lose hope, stay on. Don't give up. After all, it's your dream. You did it for a reason, a noble cause. Look into the eyes of criticisms and nay-sayers. Challenge their pessimism, run towards your goal. The brick walls would now seem to slowly disintegrate and give way to your persistent attempts.
- Yours Truely
